The inception of the brand goes back to establishment of Aruna Grinding Mill in the 1980s by our founder who was rooted to a renown spice family. Through the humble beginnings of developing high-quality spices, Arun Spices was able to gradually expand their market into all parts of Malaysia with their authentic line up of Indian spices.
In the present day, Arun Spices has a market that has grown beyond its home country to other regions such as European sub-continent, United Kingdom, United States of America, India, Sri Lanka, Canada, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Scandinavian countries.

The predecessor of Arun Spices is the Aruna Grinding Mill which was established in 1983 producing a range of Spices. From the very beginning every production and operational aspect of the mill was carried out with attention to detail by the founder and the loyal workforce. As a result, Aruna Grinding Mill became known for producing a quality range of popular Indian Spices, earning a formidable reputation among the competitors, wholesalers, retailers and the consumers in Malaysia.

By the late 1990s, due to growing demand and enhanced quality expectations in the market, Arun Spices required fast-paced production capabilities with higher quality standards. This was enabled through the modernization of Aruna Grinding Mill with state-of-the-art machinery allowing for fast-paced production and enhancement in the quality of spices.

With a proven range of high-quality spices in hand, the company understood the need to have a strong brand to gain a foothold and thrive among the wider demographics of the country. This led to the development of “Arun Spices” as a proper brand, with realigned marketing and advertising strategies aiming to create a strong brand awareness and positioning as a household brand of Indian Spices. In 2016, Tusidhi's Spice Marketing was incorporated as the parent entity of Arun Spices, to manage the growth into the overseas markets apart from the home market. This new entity was pivotal in enhancing the research and development of the brand allowing to introduce more fine-tuned flavors of Spices and Seasoning according to the different tastes of the markets.
